This online traffic safety course covers the basic aspects of roadway safety for those working near the roadside. Participants will learn about safe practices to protect themselves, their co-workers, and the traveling public while performing operations close to traffic.

Who Should Take This Course

The course was designed to help transportation professionals, local agencies, and contractors improve safety practices and reduce risks on roadways.

Accessing the Course

This training is offered via the course management system Canvas. Upon completing your online registration, you will receive an email confirmation. To access the course, please visit Canvas and login with your University of Minnesota internet ID and password. Once you have been enrolled, your course will appear on your Canvas dashboard.
