Precision Driving Center Hybrid Snowplow Operator Courses

About the Courses
These hybrid courses provide detailed instruction for snowplow operators. Each course includes a 90-minute online component and a 5-hour in-person training session. Trainees need to bring an agency plow or rent one from the driving center for $200.
Individuals can register to attend only the day one course or both courses.

- Guardrail and mailbox clearance
- Forward-diminishing clearance
- Front-stop positioning
- Very tight serpentine in reverse
- Rear-stop positioning
- Very tight circles (left and right)
- Curb clearing
- On-road turning
- Judgment of right side tires to a specific object
- Proper mirror set-up and visual areas
- Wing and plow clearance (left and right)
