Chainsaw Maintenance Training for Local Agencies

About the Workshop
At this training, attendees will learn to recognize and identify "field fixable" chainsaw problems versus those that require expert repair. The workshop will also review how to prevent and repair the most common chainsaw field problems, helping agencies to save time and money down the road.
This is a hands-on course. Attendees are recommended to bring their own chainsaws to class.

Instructor
Alex Bildeaux currently owns a logging business and teaches chainsaw safety seminars across the US. His early career ranged from logging in northern Minnesota to building and racing chainsaws competitively to owning and operating a small-engine dealership. He has also served as a national safety director and sold chainsaws for manufacturers and distributors. With over 35 years in the industry, Alex has seen firsthand the practices and problems faced by chainsaw operators in the field.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for public agency staff, including permanent, seasonal, and temporary maintenance personnel, technicians, and utility staff.
Credit
- 0.5 Roads Scholar Program Maintenance Certificate credit.
