Minnesota Truck-Weight Education Training

This workshop promotes voluntary compliance to reduce damage to public roads and highways from overweight vehicles. The goal is to provide information and explanations to attendees on how to haul the most legal weight without violating the truck-weight laws. Attendees learn about road weights during various times of the year, including the winter load increase and spring load restrictions. The workshop is updated as needed to reflect changes in truck-weight legislation.

Minnesota Truck-Weight Education for Road Authority and Enforcement Staff

This workshop provides specialized truck-weight training to enforcement and road authority regulatory staff. It features many elements of the traditional truck-weight course as well as more specific information needed for successful prosecution of violators. The course also includes explanations of specific statutes governing road weight and a weighing demonstration with portable scale weighing guidance.
