Mike Eveslage is a training and technical instructor for the Minnesota Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) at the Center for Transportation Studies. In this role, he manages, administers, and provides training and technical expertise to local agencies across Minnesota.
Mike was formerly the athletics operations manager and an assistant softball coach with the College of St. Benedict (CSB). Before joining CSB, he worked as an instructional technology specialist and taught history, geography, reading, and civics. He holds a BA in history from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in teaching from the College of St. Scholastica.
Since 2018, Mike has served as the mayor of Freeport, Minnesota, and he has been a director on the Board for the Minnesota Association of Small Cities since 2021. He has collaborated with state and federal politicians to implement policies aimed at improving the conditions of Minnesota’s small cities.
