Jim Foldesi, public works director/highway engineer for St. Louis County and a recent member of the MnLTAP Steering Committee, received the 2024 Richard P. Braun Distinguished Service Award. This honor from CTS recognizes outstanding leadership in research and innovation.
Foldesi is a member of the National Association of County Engineers and the Minnesota County Engineers Association. He is also the past chair of the Minnesota Local Road Research Board (LRRB).
“The LRRB plays a unique and important role in Minnesota,” he says. “Its autonomous decision-making authority helps ensure local agency priority research and implementation projects are pursued and funded. These projects positively impact our transportation network—and the work of MnLTAP.”
MnLTAP thanks Jim for his service!
