MnLTAP’s website relaunched on November 27 with new features and an updated design. The new site configuration is optimized for use on both desktop and mobile devices.
Site enhancements include:
- A new training and events calendar, which can be accessed in both traditional and list views. The calendar is integrated with the complete course catalog.
- An at-a-glance list of the most popular online courses on the home page and a complete catalog organized by topic.
- A revised visual layout that features the popular Roads Scholar Program, Truck-Weight Education Program, and Local Operational Research Assistance Program.
- An attention-grabbing feature story window linked to all current MnLTAP news and current and past issues of the Technology Exchange publication.
Several print and digital publications that feature program news, events, and more are integrated with the MnLTAP website.
The new site is also integrated with the Center for Transportation Studies' YouTube channel, which has dozens of videos related to LTAP programs. Select LTAP information is also featured on the center’s LinkedIn page.
From July 2022–June 2023, nearly 70,000 visitors viewed pages at mnltap.umn.edu more than 150,000 times.
MnLTAP is administered by the University of Minnesota’s Center for Transportation Studies and sponsored by the Minnesota Local Road Research Board and Federal Highway Administration.
