About the Webinar

Join us for the first event in CTS's Freight 101 Webinar Series, being held in conjunction with our 2025 theme of "Unpacking Freight: From Producers to Front Doors." The six-webinar series will explore the importance of the freight system to Minnesota and offer a glimpse into how key freight modes work in our state. It will feature leaders from the overall freight system as well as trucking, aviation, maritime, rail, and urban logistics sharing their thoughts about the opportunities and challenges facing the freight industry.

In this kickoff webinar, you'll hear from leaders at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) about the state freight plan and MnDOT's role supporting freight transportation in our state. Tune in to learn more about Minnesota's freight system and how the state is approaching its future.

Speakers

  • Andrew Andrusko, Freight and Railroad Planning Director, Office of Freight and Commercial Vehicle Operations, MnDOT
  • Jon P. Solberg, Assistant Commissioner, Sustainability, Planning, and Program Management Division, MnDOT
